Fire Door Surveys in Hampshire, Southampton & Portsmouth

Fire doors are one of the most critical — and most commonly overlooked — elements of building fire safety.

A poorly maintained or non-compliant fire door can mean the difference between containing a fire and losing a building entirely.

At Accura Fire Risk, our fire door surveys provide a thorough, expert inspection of every fire door across your premises.

Why a Fire Door Survey Matters

The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 made it a legal requirement, from 23 January 2023, for Responsible Persons of multi-occupied residential buildings in England over 11 metres in height to:

  • Carry out quarterly checks of all fire doors (including self-closing devices) in common parts

  • Carry out, on a best endeavour basis, annual checks of all flat entrance doors (including self-closing devices) that lead onto common parts

If you're unsure whether your building falls under these requirements — or simply want peace of mind that your fire doors are compliant — we can help..

What's Included in Our Fire Door Inspection

After your survey, you'll get a detailed report including:

  • A full inventory of fire doors across your premises

  • Compliance status for each door

  • Identified defects and a risk rating for each

  • Recommended repairs or replacements

  • Priority actions and clear timelines

  • Photographic evidence where required

  • Support with your compliance documentation
